Jiu-jitsu, Accelerated was born from my distaste for a lot of instructional content that exists in the world.

The thing is, instructional content is great but for years it’s been primarily focused on learning new techniques and not so much the concepts and details BEHIND the techniques you are already using.

My goal when I created this newsletter was to share many of the hidden “tricks” and “hacks” (some might call this “invisible jiu-jitsu”) behind the techniques we use every single day and not focus so much on teaching new techniques.

The reality is, jiu-jitsu techniques are supposed to work… and if they’re not working, it’s usually something small you’re missing. This newsletter goes deep into a lot of the foundational and fundamental principles behind your favorite techniques.

About the Content

Where does this content come from?

I’m glad you asked.

I’m a first degree black belt (about to get my second degree) and full time instructor/owner of an academy.

Currently, most of my learning comes from Meregali, Danaher (both in person) and a lot of defensive concepts from Priit Mihkelson. I combine this learning and add my own twist based on the lessons I teach both in groups as well as private instruction.

This newsletter is an amalgamation of all of the above.
